Research in the Morrill group is focused on inventing new reactions in organic chemistry and developing sustainable catalytic methodologies for synthesis. The utility and impact of our research will ultimately be exemplified through its application in the synthesis of natural products and molecules of biological significance.

Congratulations to Hussain, Toby and James, whose work on the electrochemical deconstructive methoxylation of arylalcohols – a synthetic and mechanistic investigation has been published in Chemistry - A European Journal! [link] This was a collaborative research effort with the Grayson research group at the University of Bath!
